Benjamin K.
Ben holds a degree in Music Education from MSU Denver and brings over 17 years of teaching experience to his students. He is a versatile, multi-instrumental musician, teaching trumpet, guitar, bass, drums, and more. His musical background includes classical and jazz trumpet training, performing mariachi with the Colorado Symphony and at state events, and a personal passion for heavy metal guitar. Outside of music, Ben speaks Spanish fluently and enjoys spending time with his family, working on his car, and skateboarding. He brings this well-rounded, approachable energy into his lessons, helping students feel comfortable and supported as they learn. Ben is known for his patience and encouragement, and he truly loves teaching. He finds the greatest joy in seeing the moment when music “clicks” for a student—watching kids build confidence, play the music they love, and realize they are capable of learning and growing through practice.
